Cheryl A Adamczyk

February 10, 1955 — July 7, 2020

Cheryl A. Adamczyk, 65, flipped cancer the bird and hitched a ride back to the cosmos on Tuesday July 7th. She was the beloved wife of 17 years to Thomas Adamczyk; Loving mother of Jody and Kerry St. Joseph, Step-mother of Ashley Adamczyk; Devoted daughter of James Rothrock and the late Jaqueline Elaine Rothrock; Dear sister of Steve (Angela) Rothrock and Kimberly (Lou) Andris; She had many loving nieces and nephews.  She was a Wise Woman and a Mentor to many and her wisdom and guidance will keep her with us for a long time to come.  Cheryl was born into a military family and traveled much of her youth, finally settling in Illinois in her college years. She was a voracious reader, a talented seamstress, and unfortunately for many of our waistlines an excellent baker.  She was a lover of music and could play a mean air guitar and sync up some serious vocal harmonies.  She was the most beautiful woman most of us have ever met in real life.  She loved to sit on her deck with her coffee and listen to the birds and watch the sunrise.  She was patient and caring and gave so much of herself to her family and friends.  She was doting and indulgent to her dear sweet doggie Betsy.  The world was better with her in it and we'll miss her physical presence terribly.

Due to the coronavirus guidelines, a memorial at this time is private. The family will gather for a Celebration of Her Life at a later date after the restrictions are lifted. Family and friends are encouraged to share condolences, photos, and fond memories to her Facebook page once the family has posted an official notice of her passing there.  In lieu of flowers or other gifts the family is humbly requesting donations be made to our Go Fund Me account - https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-memory-of-cheryl?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1
