David A. Hall, Sr., 75, of New Lenox and raised in Mokena, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4th, at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeannie; Loving father of Jennifer (Greg) Schleitwiler and David A. “Bub” (Tamara) Hall, Jr.; Step-children Lance (Jessica) McCalla, Scott (Amber) McCalla, and Mark McCalla; Devoted grandfather of Amanda Jean, Eric, Brayden, Kagen and John (Brittany); Step-grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew, Ashley, Michael, Nicholas, Joshua, Caleb, Courtney, and Erica; Cherished Great-grandfather of Wyatt, Camden, Dawson and Brenden; Dear brother of John Hall and Sue Peek; Fond uncle of Michelle, Victoria, Bram, and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; children, Laura and Daniel; grandchildren, Jacob and Katlynn; and a sister, Beverly Carlson. In keeping with his wishes, private Cremation Rites will be accorded. Military Interment Services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, 1:30 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL. Family and friends are encouraged to sign the online guest book.
