Edwina L. Greco

Edwina L. Greco, 90, Longtime resident of Evergreen Park, passed away on Saturday, February 25^th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago to the late LeRoy and Leah Goering.  Beloved wife of the late Carmen D. Greco, Sr.; Devoted sister of the late Arlene Powers and late Norman Goering; Loving mother of Scott (Kelly Dove) Greco, Barbara Greco, Michael E. (Caroline) Greco, late Gary F Greco and late Carmen D. Greco, Jr.; Cherished grandmother of Mark, Michael D. (Erica), Matthew, Melissa (Chris) Fasiczka, Jon Dove (Abby), Michael C., and Brian; Adored Great-grandmother of Elise and Charlotte; Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Edwina worked as a Medical Records Technician for many years at the former St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island. She enjoyed watching the news on television and loved playing games including Scrabble and Upwords! She was active at the St. Andrew’s R.E. Church in Tinley Park until her health kept her from participating in her activities there. In keeping with her wishes, private cremation rites will be accorded. She will be interred next to her beloved husband at Cedar Park Cemetery. A Memorial Service / Communion will take place at St. Andrew’s R.E. Church, 18001 94^th Ave., Tinley Park, at a later date.
