Genevieve C. Breyts

Genevieve C. Breyts, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27^th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Walter and Genevieve Quan. She is the beloved wife of the late Calvin G. Breyts; Loving mother to Toniann (Ronald) Magiera, Kathleen Henry, Anna Marie Regnier and the late Tom (Cindy) Breyts; Cherished grandmother of Daniel (Jessica - Fiancee) Breyts, Ryan Regnier, Robert “Robbie” (Veronica) Henry, Denise Bittner, and Michael (Kristin) Neil. Devoted Great-Grandmother of Erika Henry, Ilah Henry, Brayden Henry, Dylan Bittner, and Rowan Breyts; Fond sister of Margaret Bricker, late Anna (late Rudy) Host, late James (Mary) Quan, and late Patricia Burkhart; many loving nieces and nephews. Genevieve was retired from the Prudential Partners Real Estate in Flossmoor where she was a secretary. She enjoyed watching sunsets and was very proud of her flagstone sidewalks that she continued to make into her 90’s! She will be greatly missed by her family! Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, June 4^th, at Skyline Memorial Park Chapel, 24800 S. Governors Hwy. in Monee from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at the cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Circle Drive, Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated. Info.
