George E. Mason

George E. Mason, age 89, a resident of the IL Veterans Home in Manteno, IL, passed away on Monday, July 31st. Beloved husband of the late Wanda Mason; Dear brother of the late Edward, Harry, Celia, Wanda, Edwin, Loretta, Virginia, Dolores and Donald; Devoted son of the late Albert and Victoria. George is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a proud Korean Conflict Navy Veteran, serving as a ship’s electrician. He had been a long time salesman for the Florsheim Shoe Company. In keeping with his wishes, private cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, contributions to D.A.V.
