John Miller Albert

John M. Albert, of Lynwood, US Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6th. Beloved wife Frankie (Grant-Albert); Loving father of Gregory Taplin, D. Diggins, Joi (Deshaun) Albert-Harris, LaShawn Brownlee, Demetria Williams and Ursula (Robert) Kilow; Dear brother of Zack Albert Jr., Otis Dalton, Michael Dalton, John Conway, Don Earl Echols Conway, Grace Mebane, Hattie Mae Conway, Lulu Mae Conway, and Gloriest Ann Dalton; Cherished grandfather of 13, Great-Grandfather of 3; Devoted son of the late Zack Albert Sr. and Charlie Mae Albert-Conway. John was a retired Postal Worker after 32 years of faithful service. Private cremation rites have been accorded. Interment service Friday, August 21st, 10:00 AM,  at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL. Those attending are asked to arrive at the cemetery funeral staging area no later than 9:45 AM. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at the Double Tree Hotel, 5000 W. 127th Street in Alsip, (just West of Cicero Ave on 127th Street), on Saturday, August 22nd, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.
