John E. Schuricht

John E. Schuricht, 70, of University Park, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 31^st at Franciscan Olympia Fields Hospital. He was born on July 12, 1952 to the late Edwin and Wilma Schuricht. He is the beloved husband of 43 years to the late Kathy Schuricht, nee Mumma. John is survived by his loving son, John W. (Jennifer) Schuricht; Cherished grandchildren, Alyx and Austin; and his Devoted sister, Jean Bentley. John owned and operated Steger Mobil for over 25 years before selling it in 1998. After the sale, he worked at Crete Service Station. He enjoyed his computer, using it with his little free time! He will be missed by all who knew him!  In keeping with his wishes, funeral and interment services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
