Martin “Marty” Peterson, 42, of Joliet, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 1^st. Beloved son of Kristine Lopez and the late Gary Peterson; Loving brother of Lisa (Anthony) Romano of Wilmington; Devoted uncle of Nicholas, Derrick, Anthony, Jacob, and Nathaniel Romano; Dear cousin of Christopher, Shelley, Kailie and Charlie. Marty was always able to find peace in this world by either sitting beside a bonfire playing his drums or on a river fishing. His mother and family will gather for a Celebration of His Life on Friday, November 15^th from 4 – 11 PM at the Frankfort V.F.W. Hall, 22057 S. Pfeiffer Road in Frankfort. Cremation Rites have be Accorded. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marty’s memory to P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter, 8301 W. 191^st Street, Tinley Park, IL 60487 would be appreciated.
