Nancy A. Rizza

Nancy A. Rizza, of Mokena, passed away peacefully at her home on March 20^th, 2021. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Vincent “Vince” Rizza; Loving mother of Joseph Erich Gottschalk and the late Frank Staley; Cherished grandmother of Blake (Morgan) Gottschalk and Great-grandmother of Carter Gottschalk; Dear sister of Robert Dawson, Walter Koschetz, Richard (Dawn) Koschetz, Jan Norton, the late Mitchell Norton and the late Michael (Deborah) Norton; Devoted daughter of the late Robert Norton and Ruth Koschetz. Nancy had many artistic talents including painting, stenciling, creating beautiful stain glass pieces, sewing, crocheting, and weaving. On her hand-made loom she weaved mats from plastic bags for the homeless. Her talents will be greatly missed by her family. In keeping with her wishes, private cremation rites will be accorded.
