Robert Pelton, 58, of South Chicago Heights, passed away at home suddenly on December 3rd. He was born on August 2nd,1964, in Chicago to Barbara and the late Ward Pelton. Loving father of Kristy Pelton; Cherished grandfather of Elijah Pelton; Dear brother of Cindylee (Roy) Torres, late Robin Leann Pelton, and the late Raymond “Shorty” Pelton; Devoted uncle of Jason Pelton, Roy Torres, Jr., Ryannon Torres, Nicholas Williams and Alyssa Williams. Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crete. He loved repairing anything mechanical! He often would take things apart simply to see if he could put them back together again. He was only beat once by a watch! In keeping with his wishes, private cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17th, 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Crete, 1156 W. New Monee Road, Crete, 60417. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the First Baptist Church of Crete.
