William "Bill" Leighton Cunha

August 4, 1967 — December 8, 2022

William “Bill” L. Cunha, 55, of Crete, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 8th, 2022.  He was born on August 4, 1967 in Pawtucket, R.I. to Carleeta and the late Leighton W. Cunha. He was the beloved husband of Donna R. Cunha (Ettinger).  They were married on May 21, 2016.  Father of Leighton Cunha and Katelyn Cunha; Grandfather of 4.  Loving brother of Michael (Toni) Cunha, Desiree (Scott) Marabello, Christopher (Crystal) Cunha, and Ashley (Scott) Lawton.  Bill had a special connection to his aunt, Norma Taylor and was also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He had a passion for music and loved playing his guitars.  He also enjoyed working out. Along with his wife Donna, the two of them started the Pet Paws Cause, NFP.  This is a non-profit organization that helps keep low-income seniors and their pets together by providing pet food on a monthly basis. Bill was very proud of their organization! In keeping with his wishes, private cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider making a donation to the Pet Paws Cause, NFP.  Donations can be sent to Pet Paws Cause, NFP at 24606 S.
